Palm-O-Lite hasil produk penyelidik UMP pentingkan gaya hidup sihat

Kuantan, 6 Mac- Peka terhadap amalan dan sikap sesetengah masyarakat Malaysia yang gemar menggunakan minyak secara berlebihan dalam masakan sehingga boleh menyebabkan pengumpulan lemak tepu berlebihan dalam badan, tiga penyelidik Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) berganding bahu menghasilkan Palm-O-Lite: Aeosol berasaskan minyak sawit untuk aplikasi kulinari bagi memudahkan kerja memasak serta mementingkan kepada gaya hidup sihat.

Two UMP researchers invented LED lights that could last longer

Two Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) researchers, Hisaji Noda and Muhammad Ikram Mohd Rashid, from Faculty of Electrical &  Electronics Engineering (FKEE) had successfully created high efficiency Light Emitting Diode (LED) system called ‘UMP USB LED Stick’.

They started the research project in 2010.

Project leader, Hisaji Noda, who is from Fukuoka, Japan, said the idea came about after observing existing LED system available in the market that often had life span and heat issues.

UMP galak budaya inovasi dalam kalangan penyelidik muda 

Kuantan, 13 Februari - Pertandingan Creation, Innovation, Technology & Research Exposition (CITREX) 2019 yang masuk edisi kesembilan penganjurannya menyaksikan Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) sebagai medan penggalakan dan penyuburan budaya inovasi  dalam  kalangan para penyelidik sama ada staf akademik mahu pun mahasiswa  UMP termasuk penglibatan rakan-rakan penyelidik tiga Universiti Awam dalam rangkaian universiti teknikal (MTUN) iaitu Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) dan Universiti Tun Hussein Onn (UTHM).

Penyelidik UMP cipta Lampu LED tahan lebih lama

Pekan, 13 Februari- Dua penyelidik Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) daripada Fakulti Kejuruteraan Elektrik & Elektronik berjaya menghasilkan sistem Lampu Diod Pemancar Cahaya (LED) berkecapan tinggi di kenali sebagai UMP USB LED stick.

Penyelidikan ini mula dibangunkan pada tahun 2010 oleh Hisaji Noda dan Muhammad Ikram Mohd Rashid.

Compost fertiliser from palm oil mill waste for growing organic crops

Palm oil plantation in the country is the largest agriculture crop in the country and as such, mass oil production of that scale will surely result in massive waste of empty fruit bunch.

In fact, only 10 percent of the oil is produced while the remaining 90 percent is agriculture waste or biomass. Some of the waste are processed into animal food while some are simply thrown away.

Research works by UMP received recognition in Korea

Research works by Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) lecturers continued to receive recognitions following their wins of three gold medals, two special awards, one silver medal and four bronze medals at the Seoul Invention and International Fair (SIIF).
