KUALA LUMPUR, 2 December 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) is proud to be part of the signing ceremony of a collaboration note between the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) held at Dewan Perkasa, Wisma Perwira ATM.

This event marked a strategic collaboration effort between two key ministries in developing work-based learning (WBL) programmes, Focused Community Programmes, and Defence Industry Collaborations.

GAMBANG, 20 December 2024 – The Centre for Creative Entrepreneur Development (PUPUK), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), in collaboration with Maybank Islamic Berhad, recently held the Launching Ceremony of the Asnaf Bakery Entrepreneurship Incubator Programme at the Multipurpose Hall of the UMPSA Holdings Building, UMPSA Gambang Campus.

PEKAN, 20 December 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) will soon establish the Graduate Engineering & Technological Business School (GET-BS), making it the first graduate school in Malaysia based on the TVET ecosystem.

This institution will serve as a graduate school focusing on management and business, with an emphasis on technology and engineering elements.

PEKAN, 20 December 2024 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) continues to excel as the best technology university in Malaysia, achieving 62nd place globally in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings (UIGWUR) 2024, recently announced by UI GreenMetric.

This achievement places UMPSA as the number one university in the Malaysian Technical University Network (MTUN) and fourth in Malaysia among 60 listed higher education institutions (HEIs).

TOKYO, 15 December 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) is exploring a collaboration with Tsukuba University, Japan, to implement the Mission for an Inclusive Ecosystem of Sustainable Community International Networking (MEiJALIN) programme.

This programme continues the international benchmarking initiative for best practices in ecosystems and inclusive communities, empowering individuals with disabilities (PWD) through technology in Japan.

PUTRAJAYA, 18 December 2024 – Journals published by Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Press were awarded second and third place for Best Journal Article at the 15th Majlis Penerbitan Ilmiah Malaysia (MAPIM)-Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Awards 2024, held at Dewan Za’aba, Ministry of Higher Education.

The ceremony, officiated by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, YB Datuk Ts. Mustapha Sakmud, gathered over 50 award recipients, recognising achievements from the 2023 assessment in 20 categories.

GAMBANG, 2 December 2024 – Mushrooms are one of the best sustainable food options due to their numerous medicinal benefits.

PEKAN, 20 December 2024- Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has successfully conducted a Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) with the Port Dickson Ornamental Fish Centre to assist with the translations of the fish descriptions. 

The initiative, referred as Fishtales 2024 sought to highlight Malaysia's abundant aquatic resources while underscoring the crucial role of language in fostering cultural and scientific collaboration. 

PEKAN, 19 October 2024 – In conjunction with the 19th Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Convocation Ceremony (MKK19) recently, the Conducive Public Sector Ecosystem (EKSA) Unit of the Centre for Modern Languages (CML), in collaboration with the Centre for Industry and Community Network (ICoN), organised the EKSA Sustainability Programme.

This initiative involved the planting of 19 trees on 19 October at the UMPSA Community Forest in Pekan as a symbolic gesture to celebrate MKK19.

PEKAN, 22 November 2024 – HackathonX 2024, organised by Persatuan Mahasiswa Teknologi Komputer (PETAKOM), concluded successfully, leaving a lasting impact on students and the tech community.

The event spanned several months and brought together approximately 120 teams and over 250 students from prestigious institutions, including Public Universities (IPTA), Private Universities (IPTS), polytechnics, and other colleges.

PUTRAJAYA, 3 December 2024 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) proudly celebrates its outstanding achievement at the Huawei ICT Competition Malaysia 2024–2025 National Finals. 

The university secured a Third Prize in both the Cloud Track and Network Track categories, showcasing UMPSA’s commitment to excellence in ICT education and innovation.
