41 SPPT courses in various fields offered to UMP students

PEKAN, 18 February 2021 - Engineering programme students are now able to master various fields by taking courses in finance, psychology, Islamic studies, logistics, languages and others offered cross-field (multidisciplinary) according to their interests and preferences.

University should always be a highly civilised place

PEKAN, 11 February 2021 - Students’ Representative Council (MPP) of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) must focus and be serious in realising the university’s aspiration as a driver and enabler of civilisation and intellectualism on campus. 
Thus, in any situation, the university should always be a place of high civilisation.
This is in line with the students’ agenda in the UMP Strategic Plan 2021-2025 (UMP25) themed ‘Achieving Glory Through Excellence’ which will be launched soon.

41 kursus SPPT dalam pelbagai bidang terbuka ditawarkan buat pelajar UMP

PEKAN, 18 Februari 2021 - Pelajar program kejuruteraan kini mampu menguasai pelbagai bidang pengajian dengan mengikuti kursus kewangan, psikologi, pengajian Islam, logistik, bahasa dan pelbagai bidang lain yang ditawarkan secara silang bidang (cross field) dalam pelbagai bidang (multidisciplinary) mengikut minat dan kecenderungan masing-masing.

Universiti hendaklah sentiasa menjadi tempat yang bertamadun tinggi

PEKAN, 11 Februari 2021 -  Barisan Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar (MPP), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) perlu fokus dan serius merealisasikan harapan universiti sebagai penggerak dan pengupaya ketamadunan dan intelektualisme di kampus ini.

Justeru, bagi apa jua situasi, universiti hendaklah sentiasa menjadi tempat yang bertamadun tinggi (a place of high civilization).

Adaptasi faktor kemanusiaan dalam memperkukuh ekosistem universiti

PEKAN, 16 Februari 2021 - Naib Canselor Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Profesor Ir. Dr. Wan Azhar Wan Yusoff menasihatkan seluruh warga UMP agar segera menggerakkan faktor kemanusiaan dalam mengadaptasi ekosistem universiti yang dilihat kini agak berbeza berbanding keadaan tradisi selari dengan kepesatan perkembangan global hari ini.

Ts. Dr. Waheb creates Narrowband Internet of Things Enabled Flood Monitoring and Warning System

A lecturer from the Faculty of Electrical & Electronic Engineering Technology (FTKEE), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Ts. Dr. Waheb Abdul Jabbar Shaif Abdullah, 42, created a system called Narrowband Internet of Things Enabled Flood Monitoring and Warning System (NB-IoT FMWS).

The lecturer, who hails from Yemen, plans to design and create the world’s first NB-IoT FMWS.

The system aims to minimise or extinguish human risk during the flood season in Malaysia.
