Warga UMP semat semangat patriotisme dalam jiwa

Pekan, 10 September 2020 – Hari Kebangsaan 31 Ogos merupakan tarikh keramat paling dinantikan bagi menyemat semangat cintakan negara dalam kalangan rakyat berbilang kaum dan agama di negara ini. 

Walaupun tarikh keramat 31 Ogos telah lebih seminggu berlalu dan lebih enam dekad kita merdeka, sambutan itu terus dirai dengan sambutan yang cukup sederhana dengan pelbagai keunikan mencerminkan jati diri Malaysia. Apatah lagi menjelangnya Hari Malaysia yang bakal dirai pada 16 September nanti.

Peluang perkasa industri logistik negara

Kuantan, 8 September 2020 - Pelajar universiti perlu mengambil peluang menceburi bidang logistik dan penggunaan platform digital bagi memperkasa industri logistik di negara ini seiring dengan hasrat negara Malaysia yang bakal menjadi hab logistik utama di wilayah Asia Tenggara.
 

The Office of SUARA UMP donates 63 books to UMP library

Pekan, 26 August 2020 - The office of SUARA UMP donated 63 books published in-house to the UMP Library to elevate the momentum of the National Day celebration in conjunction with the 63rd independence.

The books were handed over by the Director of SUARA UMP, Ts. Dr. Muhamad Mat Noor to the Chief Librarian, Azman Abdul Rahim in a brief event held at UMP Pekan.

Among the books donated for the library collection are Coffee Table books, Convocation Books, Journals, and Scientific Books.

UMP associates internalise Rukun Negara as key for unity

Pekan, 26 August 2020 - ‘A pipe shapes flowing water, consensus shapes flowing words’, that is the old adage that Malaysians need to hold in maintaining national harmony and unity.

The government’s effort to sustain the nation’s unity with many races and religions is not an easy task.

Thus, 50 years ago, on 31 August 1970, Rukun Negara was declared to strengthen the unity of the country following the 13 May 1969 incident which had threatened unity among the races in Malaysia.

20 students gain knowledge about coral reefs and ecosystem

Kuantan, 21 August 2020 - For the first time, the Co-curriculum Centre, Student Affairs and Alumni Department, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) organised an Education-Based Community Service Programme: Coral Reefs and Its Impact on the Ecosystem in collaboration with Simply Scooba Industries.
Twenty participants attended the programme to gain knowledge related to the types of coral reefs in terms of care, life chain towards nature and importance to humans.

63 staff joined Kembara Lestari Merdeka to explore the beauty of nature

Pekan, 21 August 2020 - A total of 63 staff from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) walked three kilometres while waving the stripes of glory (jalur gemilang) as a way to express their love for the country in succeeding the Kembara Lestari Merdeka program organized by Registry recently.

The program started from the Tun Abdul Razak Chancellery at UMP Pekan and the participants moved towards Rimba Lestari, Nadir and ended at Dusun UMP.
