ERAS & YMGS share geotechnical expertise via Career Day Programme

To highlight the important roles that future engineers have to shoulder, the Earth Resources & Sustainability Centre (ERAS) of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), in collaboration with the Youth Wing of Malaysian Geotechnical Society (YMGS), recently organized a Career Day Programme at the Astaka Hall of the former’s campus in Gambang.

Ainex 2019: UMP’s search talent platform for students to invent or innovate cost-effective and eco-friendly products

Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP)’s Advanced Innovation and Engineering Exhibition 2019 (AiNEX 2019) received 50 entries of research products created by secondary and university students with this year’s theme focusing on products that were cost-effective and environmental-friendly.
The event was organised by the university’s Automotive Engineering Centre (AEC) and was held at Astaka Hall, Gambang Campus on July 3, 2019.
It was officially opened by AEC Director, Associate Professor Dr. Abdul Adam Abdullah.

ERAS Kongsi Kepakaran dalam bidang Kejuruteraan Geoteknikal

Kuantan, 5 Julai – Menyedari kepentingan peranan jurutera pada masa depan, Pusat Kelestarian Sumber Bumi (ERAS) dengan kerjasama Youth Wing of Malaysian Geotechnical Society (YMGS) baru-baru ini menganjurkan Program Kerjaya 2019 “Own Your Future” dalam memberikan pendedahan dan pengetahuan kepada mahasiswa Fakulti Kejuruteraan Awam & Sumber Alam (FKASA) terutamanya kepada mereka yang berada di tahun akhir membuat persiapan melangkah ke alam pekerjaan.

8 staf UMP tunai haji tahun ini

Pekan, 1 Julai – Seramai lapan orang staf Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) dipilih menjadi tetamu Allah bagi menunaikan haji pada tahun ini. Mereka adalah pasangan suami isteri  iaitu Ts. Dr. Nafrizuan Mat Yahya daripada Fakulti Kejuruteraan Mekanikal & Pembuatan (FKMP) dan isterinya Ts. ‘ErgoSpillBag’ developed to handle chemical spills in labs

The Innovative & Creative Team (KIK) from the Faculty of Engineering Technology (FTeK), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) has successfully developed the ‘ErgoSpillBag’, to facilitate quick reaction by laboratory users in emergency cases of chemical spills at the faculty’s lab.
