4 UMPSA staff children graduated, received diplomas and degrees

GAMBANG 21 October 2023 – “I can’t believe I was able to attend Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah’s (UMPSA) 18th Convocation Ceremony today, seeing that I was involved in a road accident that resulted in my car being totalled on 3 September.”

Such was the lament of Amer Daniel Abd Rahman who is a Diploma in Computer Science graduand from the Faculty of Computing.

Identical twins excited to receive degrees together

GAMBANG, 24 October 2023 – A pair of twins received their degrees together in the same field, namely Bachelor of Electronics Engineering Technology (Computer Systems) and it was a sweet moment for them at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) 18th Convocation Ceremony at the Sports Complex Hall recently.

Identical twins Hong Zhuang Yuan, 25, and Hong Zhuang Shenini, 25, expressed their excitement at being able to celebrate such a meaningful day with their twin and loved ones.

Hard work paid off for UMPSA international graduates from 14 countries

GAMBANG, 21 October 2023 – 81 international graduates from 14 countries celebrated their success in completing their studies in the 18th Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Convocation Ceremony held on 21st to 24th November 2023 in UMPSA Gambang Campus. 
   
30 of them were Doctorate (PhD) graduates, 18 were Masters graduates and 33 were bachelors programmes graduates from various faculties and centres in UMPSA.   

University as a place to cultivate leadership traits - Nurul Maherah

KUANTAN, 17 March 2022 – Leadership needs to be cultivated in individuals in order to produce people who are confident, wise in planning and able to encourage others to do something to achieve the objectives set.

According to Nurul Maherah Md Mansor, 25, many platforms can be used to hone this leadership talent including obtaining it at the university through formal training.

Soo Mann Sian receives the Vice-Chancellor Award, gift for parents

KUANTAN, 17 March 2022 - It must be the dream of every graduand to attend the Convocation Ceremony after years of studying and receive an award at the 15th UMP Convocation Ceremony.

However, with the constraints of her mother’s ailment, Soo Mann Sian, 26, was willing to forgo attending the convocation ceremony to take care of her mother, who has cancer.

She was the recipient of the Vice-Chancellor Award and said that her mother’s health was more important than everything else.
