This is evident as he consistently received the Dean’s List Award every semester, qualifying him to become the recipient of the University Gold Award at the 19th Convocation Ceremony of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).

Challenges are no barrier for Muhammad Adhwa in earning his degree

GAMBANG, 27 October 2024 – Muhammad Adhwa Mohd Salemi, 24, has proven that his disability is not an obstacle to his success as he received his degree at the 19th Convocation Ceremony of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).

The graduate with a Bachelor of Software Engineering and a visually impaired (OKU) individual has never allowed his condition to hinder his progress.

According to him, he plans to continue his studies to the Master’s by Research at UMPSA.

Loh Fui Qi overcomes loss to achieve Telekom Malaysia Berhad Excellence Award

GAMBANG, 29 October 2024 – “My life principle is ‘YOLO’ (You Only Live Once),” said Loh Fui Qi, 24, a graduate of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), who recently received the Telekom Malaysia Berhad Excellence Award at the 19th UMPSA Convocation Ceremony.

The graduate from the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology (FTKEE) expressed her joy that her hard work paid off, earning her the Dean’s List Award throughout her four years of study at UMPSA.

Kang Q Huat receives Board of Engineers Malaysia President’s Academic Excellence Award

GAMBANG, 26 October 2024 – Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours graduate, Kang Q Huat, 24, never imagined he would be chosen as the recipient of the President’s Academic Excellence Award from the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) during the 19th Convocation Ceremony of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).

This native of Kok Lanas, Kelantan, completed his studies with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.89 while also earning the Programme Best Student Award (BAA) and the IEM Gold Award.

Overcoming loss, Muhammad Syafiq Aiman resolves to earn his degree

GAMBANG, 26 October 2024 – Never imagining that he would lose a significant figure in his life at the young age of 13, Muhammad Syafiq Aiman Suhirman resolved to change the course of his family’s life.

The fifth of eight siblings continued his studies at the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology (FTKMA), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), while venturing into business.

He shared that he does not come from a privileged family.

Only learned to read in form 2, Ali, a Plantation Manager from Sabah, successfully earns his degree

GAMBANG, 29 October 2024 – Only learning to read when he was in Form Two, Ali Asman@Edit Jailani, 49, was often the target of ridicule by his friends and teachers.

In fact, he was also punished by being made to stand on chairs and tables, and his face was scribbled on.

He received his early education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Tanjung Nipis, Paitan, and continued his studies at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Batu Sapi, Sandakan.
