BATU PAHAT, 17 February 2022 - The only child or first child in a B40 family who successfully pursues study in the university and is offered to study at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) to pursue a diploma and bachelor’s degree program has the opportunity to receive the Sulung Scholarship under Yayasan UMP.
It is a motivation for other family members to improve academic performance.
PEKAN, 17 February 2022 - His Majesty the Regent of Pahang Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hasanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah was appointed as the Royal Patron for the Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Volunteers.
This appointment is in line with the university’s aspiration to strengthen the volunteering agenda at the university.
PEKAN, 28 April 2022 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) is ranked 301st-400th and 8th in Malaysia in the global impact rating Time Higher Education (THE Global Impact Ranking) announced on 27 April 2022.
In contrast to other world ratings, THE Impact Rankings focuses on 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to inculcate harmony and prosperity in nature as well as global society.
According to the UMP Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, it was UMP’s first participation.

Berbeza dengan penarafan dunia yang lain, THE Impact Rankings memberi tumpuan terhadap 17 Matlamat Pembangunan Lestari (SDG) dalam usaha menyemai keharmonian dan kemakmuran alam serta masyarakat sejagat.
PEKAN, 18 April 2022 - The Chief Executive Officer of UMP Advanced (UMPA), Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd. Rusllim Mohamed was appointed as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs & Alumni) of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) effective 18 April 2022 to 17 April 2025.
Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd. Rusllim replaces Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, who has been in the post since 21 June 2010.
PEKAN, 23 April 2022 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) menghargai jasa dan sumbangan petugas barisan hadapan universiti yang akan terus berkhidmat di waktu kebanyakan staf lain bercuti menyambut raya tidak lama lagi.
Berlangsung baru-baru ini, Program Salam Kasih Lebaran anjuran Jabatan Pendaftar bagi menyerahkan sumbangan raya kepada seramai 50 staf UMP yang akan bertugas pada hari raya ini.
