UMPSA Journals secure second and third place for Best Journal Article at 15th MAPIM-KPT Awards

PUTRAJAYA, 18 December 2024 – Journals published by Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Press were awarded second and third place for Best Journal Article at the 15th Majlis Penerbitan Ilmiah Malaysia (MAPIM)-Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Awards 2024, held at Dewan Za’aba, Ministry of Higher Education.

The ceremony, officiated by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, YB Datuk Ts. Mustapha Sakmud, gathered over 50 award recipients, recognising achievements from the 2023 assessment in 20 categories.

UMPSA to establish first Graduate School in Malaysia’s TVET Ecosystem

PEKAN, 20 December 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) will soon establish the Graduate Engineering & Technological Business School (GET-BS), making it the first graduate school in Malaysia based on the TVET ecosystem.

This institution will serve as a graduate school focusing on management and business, with an emphasis on technology and engineering elements.

UMPSA Recognised as the Best Technology University for Sustainability in Malaysia, Ranked 62nd Globally

PEKAN, 20 December 2024 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) continues to excel as the best technology university in Malaysia, achieving 62nd place globally in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings (UIGWUR) 2024, recently announced by UI GreenMetric.

This achievement places UMPSA as the number one university in the Malaysian Technical University Network (MTUN) and fourth in Malaysia among 60 listed higher education institutions (HEIs).

UMPSA empowers Local Fish Ornamental

PEKAN, 20 December 2024- Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has successfully conducted a Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) with the Port Dickson Ornamental Fish Centre to assist with the translations of the fish descriptions. 

The initiative, referred as Fishtales 2024 sought to highlight Malaysia's abundant aquatic resources while underscoring the crucial role of language in fostering cultural and scientific collaboration. 

Despite losing his father, Muhammad Farhad excels in Data Analytics

GAMBANG, 26 October 2024 – Muhammad Farhad Khaharruddin, 23, was still stunned when his name was announced as the recipient of the Academic Excellence Award from the Pahang Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MUIP) at the 19th Convocation Ceremony of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).

This award is a recognition of his outstanding achievements and hard work throughout his studies, where he succeeded in earning a first-class degree in Data Analytics.
