DVC (Student Affairs & Alumni) performs the functions of Vice-Chancellor

PEKAN, 1 September 2021 - Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs & Alumni), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Profesor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin is currently appointed to perform the duties and functions of the UMP Vice-Chancellor.

Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie arrived at the Office of the Vice-Chancellor today, welcomed by the Registrar/Chief Operating Officer of UMP, Hazmin Aris and staff at the Tun Abdul Razak Chancellery, UMP Pekan.

UMP25 Strategic Plan targets 6 objectives to improve national technical capabilities

PEKAN, 26 August 2021 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) set six strategic objectives in the UMP Strategic Plan 2021-2025 (UMP25) to achieve the university’s targets to improve the country’s technical skills capabilities.

The establishment of high level technical and vocational education and training (TVET) excellence, innovation with industry collaboration and high impact technology exploration are the cores of the UMP25 Strategic Plan.

Knowledge, skills and leadership key characteristics of administrators

PEKAN, 2 August 2021 - The administrators of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) are encouraged to embody three important characteristics, namely knowledge, skills and leadership in administration and always open their minds in fulfilling tasks and commitments.

They also need to remember the greatness in administration is indispensable in any Responsibility Centres (PTJ).
Therefore, do not consider job rotation as something negative.
