UMPSA organises Science Awareness Programme at SMATAF to enhance students’ interest and skills

PEKAN, 6 November 2024 – The Profesor Turun Padang Programme 2024, organised by the Centre for Industry and Community Network (ICoN) and the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology (FTKKP), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), successfully increased the awareness and interest of Sekolah Menengah Agama Tengku Ampuan Fatimah (SMATAF) students in science subjects.

The programme, held at Dewan Ibnu Sina, SMATAF, Pekan, was attended by 60 students from Forms One to Three.

UMPSA conducts campaign for Disposal of Quranic Manuscripts and Printed Quranic Text Materials

PEKAN, 25 November 2024 – The Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), successfully conducted the Campaign for the Disposal of Quranic Manuscripts and Printed Quranic Text Materials, held in conjunction with the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem Week (EKSA) recently.

The campaign achieved a proud milestone, with the total amount of collected printed Quranic text materials reaching 3,873 kilograms.

UMPSA drives ethical Artificial Intelligence Initiative

GAMBANG, 6 December 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) continues to demonstrate a high commitment to leading the development of science and technology knowledge through the organisation of AI Week, themed ‘To Create Awareness for Responsible AI to the Students and Community’.

This initiative aims to disseminate knowledge and skills related to artificial intelligence (AI) to society, particularly in Pahang Darul Makmur.

12 UMPSA academic staff receive promotion letters

PEKAN, 17 December 2024 – A total of 12 staff members from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) today received promotion letters following the successful applications for promotions in academic positions.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), who is exercising the function of Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ts. Dr Aida Mustapha emphasised in her speech that promotions are not an entitlement but the result of merit and excellence.
