UMPSA opens more help desks for prospective students, easing university admission process

PEKAN, 19 September 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) is extending support to students in need of financial assistance and other resources to facilitate the admission process, ahead of the registration day set for September 28.

According to UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato' Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, the university and the UMPSA Foundation are always dedicated to helping students in need, particularly at the start of their academic journey.

UMPSA and the Pahang State Health Department organized the World Suicide Prevention Awareness Day Symposium and the Pahang State Level Mental Health Day Celebration 2024

PEKAN, 19 September 2024 – Recently, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), in collaboration with the Pahang State Health Department (JKNP), organized the World Suicide Prevention Awareness Day Symposium and Pahang State Level Mental Health Day Celebration 2024.

The event was officiated by Public Health Consultant Physician and Deputy Director of State Health (Public Health) at the Pahang State Health Department, Dato' Dr. Wan Abdul Rahim Wan Muhammad.

More than 1,500 attend RTM's Malaysia Aspiration Tour and UMPSA's Independence Day Celebration

GAMBANG, 31 August 2024 – More than 1,500 people attended the RTM Malaysia Aspiration Tour and the Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Independence Night Celebration recently at the UMPSA Mini Stadium, Gambang Campus.

The event was officiated by Member of Parliament for Paya Besar, Dato' Indera Mohd Shahar Abdullah, and witnessed by UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato' Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin.

UMPSA participates in the 67th National Day parade in Kuantan and Pekan

KUANTAN, 31 August 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) sent two contingents to participate in the parade for the 67th National Day Celebration at the Pahang State Level in Kuantan and Pekan.

The contingent was composed of 60 staff members, led by Hairulazam Haron in Kuantan and Ts. Haji Azahar Mohd Yasin in Pekan.

Speak Up! 2024 for Malaysian Heroes confidence booster

GAMBANG, 20 September 2024 – The 2024 Speak Up! event, now in its fifth edition, marked yet another successful collaboration between the Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) and the Malaysian Armed Forces. 

Held over two days, on 18 and 19 September, this year’s program was specially designed to enhance the English communication skills of personnel from the 4th Brigade Headquarters (Mechanize), Kuantan Air Base, and Naval Region 1 Headquarters. 

'Motor Merdeka Atuk' fosters patriotism and love for the nation

PEKAN, 30 August 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has produced a short drama titled 'Motor Merdeka Atuk' in conjunction with the 67th Independence Day, which will be celebrated on 31 August.

This short drama aims to inspire the spirit of patriotism among UMPSA members and Malaysians. 'Motor Merdeka Atuk' is the creation of Muhammad Aiman Nasriq Mohd Roslan, a student at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology (FTKEE).
