PAYA BESAR, 16 February 2022 – Sixty-three Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) staff who have contributed their services for more than two decades at this university were celebrated in Majlis Sanjungan Budi in conjunction with UMP’s 20th Anniversary Celebration this year.

The ceremony saw Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin presented certificates of appreciation to the recipients in a recent programme organised by the Registry Department at UMP Astaka Hall.

KUANTAN, 14 February 2022 – “Women can contribute energy and ideas to develop the country.

“Therefore, the UMP Women’s Association (MATAHARI), with members consisting of academic experts, professional management and UMP support staff, needs to use their respective expertise, minds and energy to mobilise the association for the good of UMP associates and the local community,” said the wife of Menteri Besar Pahang, Datin Sri Dato’ Burhah Mohamed.

BATU PAHAT, 19 January 2022 - UMP’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project Lighting Up the Community this time witnessed the installation of a solar powered spotlight system for community facilities here by adding lighting at wakaf and vehicle parking at Masjid Pekan Sri Medan and student houses in Kampung Parit Singgahan Dalam in Batu Pahat, Johor. 

PEKAN, 1 March 2022 - The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs & Alumni), Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, 60, was appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) effective 1 March 2022.

Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) before continuing his study in Commerce at the University of Wollongong, Australia in 1992.

PEKAN, 1 Mac 2022 - Timbalan Naib Canselor (Hal Ehwal Pelajar dan Alumni), Profesor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, 60, dilantik sebagai Naib Canselor Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) berkuat kuasa 1 Mac 2022.

Profesor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie berkelulusan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Sains Sosial dari Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) sebelum menyambung pengajian dalam bidang Perdagangan di University of Wollongong, Australia pada tahun 1992.

PAYA BESAR, 24 Februari 2022 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) menerima kunjungan Ketua Pengarah Pendidikan Tinggi, Profesor Dato' Dr. Husaini Omar dan delegasi dari Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi di UMP Kampus Gambang baru-baru ini. 

Turut sama menyertai delegasi Pengarah Bahagian Standard Swasta KPT, Dr. Wan Baharudin  Wan Mahmood, Pengarah, Bahagian Penguatkuasaan dan Inspektorat, Mat Hassan Ibrahim dan Pengarah, Bahagian Mahasiswa Holistik, Profesor Madya Dr. Mohd Suzeren Md Jamil.
