Minister of Higher Education meets UMP students and lecturers to discuss Post-Covid-19 T&L

Kuantan, 14 June 2020 – A visit from the Minister of Higher Education, Dato’ Dr. Noraini Ahmad together with the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) delegation to Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) recently gave UMP students an opportunity to relay their ideas and suggestions directly, and to receive feedback on current issues related to post-COVID-19, especially in teaching and learning (T&L). 

UMP and Pahang State plan to discuss research achievement

Pekan, 18 June 2020 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and the Pahang State Government will hold a round table discussion to discuss research achievement, organising regular forums including issues related to public transportation and technology to streamline locals’ affairs especially involving the community in Pahang.
According to the Chair of Basic Facilities, Public Address System and Innovation Committee, Dato’ Sri Norolazali Sulaiman, it is undeniable the UMP has a massive impact on Pahang.

Menteri Pengajian Tinggi bertemu mahasiswa dan pensyarah UMP bincang PdP Pasca Covid-19

Kuantan, 14 Jun 2020 – Kunjungan Menteri Pengajian Tinggi, Yang Berhormat Dato’ Dr. Noraini Ahmad bersama delegasi Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi (KPT) ke Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) baru-baru ini adalah bagi memberi peluang mahasiswa UMP untuk menyalurkan pandangan, cadangan dan mendapatkan maklum balas secara terus berkaitan isu semasa berkaitan pasca COVID-19 khususnya dalam Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran (PdP).

UMP dan Kerajaan Negeri Pahang rancang bincang keberhasilan kajian

Pekan, 18 Jun 2020 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) dan Kerajaan Negeri Pahang bakal mengadakan perbincangan meja bulat bagi membincangkan keberhasilan kajian, penganjuran forum berterusan termasuklah isu berkaitan pengangkutan awam dan perihal teknologi dalam memudah cara urusan masyarakat setempat terutamanya membabitkan komuniti di negeri Pahang.

UMP listed among the top 751–800 universities worldwide

Pekan, 10 June 2020 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) maintains its position grouped in the 751–800th best worldwide after being listed in the QS World University Rankings (QS-WUR) 2021 that was recently announced by the international ranking agency QS Quacquarelli Symonds.

The New Norm: UMP Staff’s 3 Working Procedures during CMCO

Pekan, 27 May 2020 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) campus recovers its’ former liveliness after almost two months being left due to the Restriction Movement Order (RMO) in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Some UMP staff can be seen going to work in stages according to the procedures that have been decided. 

UMP staff can be seen entering the premise as early as 7.30 a.m and undergo the screening process at the guardhouse.
