UMP Foundation to aid students in need

Pekan, 3rd October 2020 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Foundation has taken the initiative to alleviate the burden faced by the students due to the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) decision to postpone the physical and face-to-face registration by providing emergency assistance incentive to those affected.

This aid is given to students who are already in the campus, those who are still at home, but had to cancel transportation ticket and logistic as well as to those who were on their way back to campus. 

Ts. Dr. Norazlianie produces portable carbon membrane for hydrogen purification

Kuantan, 29 September 2020 - The new carbon membrane producers that offer supported carbon membrane in commercial-scale quantities prove that the current market focuses more on competitive and affordable unit price.

The auspicious patent development for this type of membrane in the last 5 years has made the lecturer of the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology (FTKMA), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Ts. Dr. Norazlianie Sazali, 31 to produce portable carbon membrane for hydrogen purification.

Thus, it is necessary for the UMP management to make decisions  based on the latest development of the pandemic to ensure its academic activities meet the learning outcomes and the high standard quality.

Pekan, 24 September 2020 - Concerned with the welfare of its staff, Yayasan Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) has acted proactively by channelling zakat assistance to 41 staff who are eligible to receive zakat.
