PEKAN, 14 February 2026 – A total of 60 Yayasan UMPSA volunteers camped in Permatang Keledang, Pekan, to implement the Kembara Lestari@Permatang Keledang 2026 Programme, a UMPSA community service initiative focusing on Orang Asli community development through sustainability approaches, knowledge transfer, and the use of technology.

PEKAN, 15 February 2026 – The five-day Kembara Lestari 2026 Programme held in Permatang Keledang is a community service initiative by Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) to engage the local community with a focus on Orang Asli community development through sustainability approaches, knowledge transfer, and the use of technology.

GAMBANG, 13 February 2026 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) launched the Strategic Plan 2026–2030 (UMPSA30) focusing on four main strategic thrusts, namely Internationalisation, Sustainability, Advanced TVET, and Entrepreneurship, in support of the aspirations of the Malaysia Higher Education Plan (RPTM) 2026–2035, particularly in the aspects of graduate employability, impactful excellence, sustainability, and institutional resilience.

GAMBANG, 13 February 2026 – The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Ts. Dr. Yatimah Alias announced four strategic thrusts themed K.I.T.A, comprising Kelestarian, Kewangan, and Keusahawanan (K), Inovasi dan Industri (I), TVET Termaju dan Bakat (T), and Akademik, Antarabangsa dan Alumni (A) to ensure UMPSA remains relevant and competitive in line with the aspirations of the Malaysia Higher Education Plan (RPTM) 2026–2035.

CAMERON HIGHLANDS, 11 February 2026 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) formalised a memorandum of understanding with SMACH Venture Sdn. Bhd. to expand collaboration in the fields of academics and research, particularly involving the development of sustainable agricultural technology.

CAMERON HIGHLANDS, 7 February 2026 – The launch of the Kampung Angkat MADANI (KAM) Programme by Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) and the Implementation Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department (ICU JPM) at Kampung Orang Asli Chenan Cherah Baru successfully supports the Malaysia MADANI agenda with a focus on empowering the rural community through university–community engagement.

GAMBANG, 3 February 2026 – A total of 70 selected Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) leavers from across Malaysia participated in the Tun Razak Leadership Programme (TRF LEAP) 2026 Cohort 31 residential camp for six days at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Gambang Campus starting 30 January.

The residential programme was managed by Tun Razak Foundation (TRF), Ministry of National Unity, in collaboration with the UMPSA InSmartive Club.

GAMBANG, 3 February 2026 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) today formalised a memorandum of understanding with Aviation Australia in a ceremony held at the Banquet Hall, UMPSA Gambang Campus, as a strategic step to strengthen collaboration in the aerospace field and aviation industry talent development.
