UMPSA30 Strategic Plan focuses on 4 main strategic thrusts towards impactful excellence

GAMBANG, 13 February 2026 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) launched the Strategic Plan 2026–2030 (UMPSA30) focusing on four main strategic thrusts, namely Internationalisation, Sustainability, Advanced TVET, and Entrepreneurship, in support of the aspirations of the Malaysia Higher Education Plan (RPTM) 2026–2035, particularly in the aspects of graduate employability, impactful excellence, sustainability, and institutional resilience.

GAMBANG, 13 February 2026 – The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Ts. Dr. Yatimah Alias announced four strategic thrusts themed K.I.T.A, comprising Kelestarian, Kewangan, and Keusahawanan (K), Inovasi dan Industri (I), TVET Termaju dan Bakat (T), and Akademik, Antarabangsa dan Alumni (A) to ensure UMPSA remains relevant and competitive in line with the aspirations of the Malaysia Higher Education Plan (RPTM) 2026–2035.

UMPSA Kampung Angkat MADANI launch focuses on empowering rural community

CAMERON HIGHLANDS, 7 February 2026 – The launch of the Kampung Angkat MADANI (KAM) Programme by Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) and the Implementation Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department (ICU JPM) at Kampung Orang Asli Chenan Cherah Baru successfully supports the Malaysia MADANI agenda with a focus on empowering the rural community through university–community engagement.

UMPSA and Yayasan Tun Razak realise TRF LEAP to enhance student leadership

GAMBANG, 3 February 2026 – A total of 70 selected Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) leavers from across Malaysia participated in the Tun Razak Leadership Programme (TRF LEAP) 2026 Cohort 31 residential camp for six days at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Gambang Campus starting 30 January.

The residential programme was managed by Tun Razak Foundation (TRF), Ministry of National Unity, in collaboration with the UMPSA InSmartive Club.

KUALA LUMPUR, 29 January 2026 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) continues to strengthen its strategic industry network by formalising 23 memoranda of understanding, memoranda of agreement, and letters of intent with local and international industry partners during the UMPSA–Industry MoU and MoA Exchange Ceremony Series 1 held at Perdana Hotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) recently.
