UMPSA Strengthens Graduate Employability: 45 Candidates Certified in Professional Commercial Diving and Underwater Welding

PULAU PINANG, 24 December 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has successfully concluded a high-impact professional training programme titled ‘Professional Commercial Diving with Underwater Welding and Cutting’, which was aimed at equipping 45 graduates with specialised technical skills to meet the rigorous demands of the marine and oil and gas industries.

From laptops to smartphones and wearable gadgets, this progress has relied on shrinking transistors, the tiny switches that control electrical signals, while increasing processing speed. Traditional transistors work by controlling the flow of electrical current, but as their size approaches just a few nanometers, quantum effects such as electron leakage and heat dissipation make this approach less efficient.

The Centre for Modern Languages, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) hosted its first Guest Speaker Series (GSS) for the ULE3772 Interpersonal Effectiveness course, providing students with an opportunity to engage with industry experts and develop essential personal and professional skills. The GSS aims to enrich learning beyond the classroom by addressing competencies critical for success in contemporary academic and professional contexts.

UMPSA welcomes 2,313 new students, enlivening 2025/2026 Academic Session

PEKAN, 27 September 2025 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) received a total of 2,313 new students who began registering today for Semester I of the 2025/2026 Academic Session at both campuses in Pekan and Gambang.

The registration process, which began this morning, proceeded smoothly through a drive-through method with the attendance of students accompanied by their respective families from all over the country.
