UMPSA and YASA launch Akademi Menara Gading 2.0

GAMBANG, 2 October 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), in partnership with its strategic collaborator, Yayasan Al-Sultan Abdullah (YASA), launched the Akademi Menara Gading 2.0 programme today at Dewan Astaka, UMPSA Gambang Campus.

1,576 new students register at UMPSA

GAMBANG, 29 September 2024 – A total of 1,576 new students have registered for the latest intake at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).

Of these, 978 students will be pursuing their studies at the Gambang campus, while the remaining 598 will be studying at the Pekan campus.

The registration took place simultaneously at different locations: the Student Activity Centre (PAP) Square for students at UMPSA Pekan, and Residential Colleges 3 and 4 for those at the Gambang campus.

150 new students receive UMPSA Excellence Incentive

GAMBANG, 29 September 2024 – A total of 150 outstanding students, who have completed their diplomas, matriculation, polytechnic, Vocational College, or the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM), and were selected to pursue their studies at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), have been awarded the UMPSA Foundation Excellence Incentive for this academic session.

UMPSA honours outstanding lecturers at the Cendekia Bitara Awards

KUANTAN, 28 September 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) celebrated its outstanding lecturers at the Cendekia Bitara Awards (ACB) ceremony, held at the Grand Darul Makmur Hotel in Kuantan.

A total of 81 world-class UMPSA researchers were recognised, receiving 141 Cendekia Bitara Awards across ten categories. Additionally, six e-Learning University Awards (APU) and one University Academic Award (AAU) were presented, dedicated to academic staff who have excelled in teaching and learning.

UMPSA strengthens global ties with Mohamed Bin Zayed University for humanities through strategic partnership

ABU DHABI, 3 October 2024 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has further expanded its global presence by formalising a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities (MBZUH). 

The signing ceremony, held in Abu Dhabi, was graced by the esteemed presence of His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, who also serves as Pro-Chancellor of UMPSA. 

3 UMPSA Cadet Officers crowned Best PALAPES Cadets

PEKAN, 24 September 2024 – Three cadet officers from the PALAPES unit at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) were recently awarded the highest honours as Best Cadet Officers in the categories of Army, Navy, and Air Force at the 42nd Royal Commissioning Ceremony of Cadet Officers from Public Universities (UA), held at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI).

‘Let’s Get Healthy with the Vice-Chancellor’ Programme boosts physical and mental fitness of UMPSA staff

PEKAN, 25 September 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) recently held the ‘Let’s Get Healthy with the Vice-Chancellor’ programme, one of the initiatives launched in response to the call by UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, highlighting the importance of work-life balance in addressing the rising burden of Non-Communicable Diseases at the university.

UMPSA and PPDK DAMAI Pekan host Survival Camp for 20 participants

PEKAN, 23 September 2024 – A total of 20 participants took part in the Survival Camp Programme organized by the Disability Services Unit, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (OkUMPSA), and the Community-Based Rehabilitation Organization (PPDK DAMAI) Pekan at the Water Recreation Park, UMPSA Pekan.

According to Programme Director Norhayati Ismail, the programme was designed to help participants build self-confidence through various challenges and foster a spirit of cooperation through group activities.
