UMP Library provides the best service in the new norm

Dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic in the long run is not an easy task. It also affects the whole world. No exception, the services offered by the public sector also need to be adapted to the new norms. 
Academic libraries face challenges when their users, especially students, study at home. All services offered by the university departments should be in line with the online and distance learning. 

A Decade of German Engineering Education Collaboration: Past, Present and Future

The year 2020 marks a milestone in the history of academic collaboration between Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and its German partners, the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HsKA) and Reutlingen University (HsRT). Back in 2009, the Malaysian Government instructed the Malaysian Technical Universities Network (MTUN) to model their programmes similar to the Fachhochschule programme in Germany. Unhesitatingly, UMP took the challenge and began the mission by visiting HsKA on 23 November 2009.

Perpustakaan akademik berdepan dengan cabaran apabila pengguna mereka khususnya pelajar menjalani pembelajaran di rumah. Semua perkhidmatan yang ditawarkan oleh jabatan di universiti perlu selari dengan pembelajaran dalam talian dan pembelajaran jarak jauh.

Masyarakat pada masa kini melihat pandemik COVID-19 daripada pelbagai perspektif. Ada yang melihatnya sebagai ancaman yang telah memberi kesan kepada pendapatan bulanan isi rumah. Ada pula yang mudah menyesuaikan diri dengan gaya hidup baharu kerana banyak masa yang terluang untuk menyelesaikan tugas dan kerja yang tertangguh.

Scuba diving has gained attention and grown in popularity among Malaysians. Malaysia is a Southeast Asian country popular among travellers due to its incredible marine life. A few days ago, a trip was organised to conduct an exploration dive with D’Lagoon Dive Centre at Perhentian Island, Kuala Terengganu, led by Azharil Art, a well experienced diving instructor.
