UMPSA expands TVET education outreach, strengthens student leadership

GAMBANG, 19 June 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) once again takes a step forward to strengthen the national Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Agenda by organising the UMPSA Open Day 2025 in conjunction with the National TVET Day Celebration, which took place for two days from 18 to 19 June 2025 at the Sports Complex Hall, UMPSA Gambang Campus.

iFUTURE@UMPSA gathers young leadership talents at global level

GAMBANG, 19 June 2025 – The iFUTURE@UMPSA programme took place in full splendour at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Gambang Campus, bringing together various parties, including students, lecturers, agencies, and industries, in driving the nation’s future talent development agenda.

The programme is an aspiration of the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) to ensure that the nation’s future leaders are exposed to various national and global issues.

Green Degreaser, inovasi pencuci mesra alam hasil kolaborasi murid sekolah dan UMPSA

PEKAN, 30 Jun 2025 – Inovasi pencuci mesra alam, Green Degreaser yang dibangunkan hasil kolaborasi murid-murid Tahun 6 Sekolah Rendah Islam Al-Amin Paya Besar (SRIAAPB) bersama Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) dan syarikat industri MNR Multitech Sdn. Bhd., berjaya mencipta impak besar dalam usaha menangani pencemaran kimia dan menyokong kelestarian alam sekitar.

Produk itu mula dibangunkan melalui hasil perbincangan pada Januari 2025 dan siap sepenuhnya pada Mei 2025. 

UMPSA receives RM200,000 zakat contribution from PETRONAS Chemicals MTBE for asnaf students’ benefits

PEKAN, 25 June 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) continues to strengthen its commitment to student welfare through strategic collaboration with the industrial sector by receiving a corporate zakat contribution amounting to RM200,000 from PETRONAS Chemicals MTBE Sdn. Bhd. in an official ceremony held at the Banquet Hall, Chancellery Tun Abdul Razak, UMPSA Pekan.

UMPSA recognised as 609th Best University in the World in QS WUR, listed among Top 200 THE Impact Rankings

PEKAN, 19 June 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has risen to the 609th position globally in the QS World University Rankings (QS WUR) 2026, recently announced.

This position maintains UMPSA’s standing as the number one best technical university among the Malaysian Technical University Network (MTUN).

Even more proudly, for the faculty citation indicator, UMPSA ranks second best in Malaysia.
