PAYA BESAR, 6 November 2022 – B.Eng (Hons.) Civil Engineering graduand, Nur Anis Syazwani, 24, received the Puspanita Community Care Award at the Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) 17th Convocation Ceremony at the UMP Sports Complex Hall.

She graduated with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.83.

Initially, she was not interested and had to take up civil engineering, but she achieved the excellence award by earning the Dean’s List Award every semester seven times in a row.

PAYA BESAR, 5 November 2022 – Two Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) graduands, Nur Harizah Mohd Nadzmi, 23 and Chew Yee Ping, 21 received the University Gold Award from the Pro-Chancellor, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Abi Musa Asa’ari Mohemed Nor at the UMP 17th Convocation Ceremony held at the UMP Gambang Campus Sports Complex Hall.

Nur Harizah, a graduand of the Bachelor of Applied Science in Material Technology with Honours from the Faculty of Industrial Science and Technology (FSTI), obtained a CGPA of 3.83.

PAYA BESAR, 6 November 2022 – Junior Lieutenant Naval Reserve Officer, Aidilsyahrul Hanif Zulkifli, 24, proved that the hustle in co-curricular activities did not deter him from receiving the Perodua Excellence Award.

He said that every effort and struggle must have its outcomes and rewards.

PAYA BESAR, 5 November 2022 - Her unpretentious and always smiling style welcoming the guests present during her duties as a committee member of the Invitation and Welcome Committee at the recent Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) 17th Convocation Ceremony turned out to hide a profound sadness in Siti Sakinah Mohtar.

She was also a celebrated graduand at the convocation ceremony when she completed her Master of Business Management (MBA) study.

PAYA BESAR, 6 November 2022 - The world was shocked by the COVID-19 pandemic that affected health and finances and claimed many lives.

In addition, it greatly affected students to continue their studies online.

However, it never stopped the recipient of the Professor Dato’ Dr. Mashitah Mohd Yusoff Award from succeeding.

Nurazyyati Inas successfully finished her study in Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Electrical) with Honours with First Class Honours.

PAYA BESAR, 5 November 2022 - Working and pursuing master’s study simultaneously is not an obstacle for 15 Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) staff to complete the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme on a part-time basis which was first offered specially for UMP staff.

The UMP 17th Convocation Ceremony saw 15 pilot MBA programme students receive their master’s degrees from the UMP Pro-Chancellor, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Abi Musa Asa’ari Mohamed Nor on the first day of the convocation ceremony.
