PAYA BESAR, 6 August 2022 – When it was confirmed that she had muscle tissue cancer or rhabdomyosarcoma in the early semester of her study, Amira Abdul Talib, 29, felt that it had increased the burden on the family.

“My family is not from a simple circle and we live from hand to mouth.

“My main goal in pursuing my study is to learn and work to help my family.

“When I was tested like this, for God's sake, I was really not strong,” she said.

PAYA BESAR, 15 July 2022  – As is common in celebrating Aidiladha year after year, the Islamic and Human Development Centre (PIMPIN), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) also organised the Ibadah Korban dan Akikah 1443H programme at the UMP Gambang Campus Mosque.

KUANTAN, July 21, 2022 - Dr. Nurul Azyyati Sabri and Mohd Safeirul Zaman Abd Majid were named winners of the 2021 University Academic Award (AAU) at the recent Bitara 21 Cendekia Award ceremony at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) held at the Zenith Hotel Kuantan.

Dr. Nurul Azyyati Sabri, lecturer and Head of Programme (Diploma of Industrial Sciences), Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology (FSTI), said she did not expect to be selected to receive this award for the Applied Sciences category.

PAYA BESAR, 13 November 2022 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) today received a delegation visit from SME Corp. Malaysia in its visit session to learn about the development of the participants of Tunas Usahawan Belia Bumiputera (TUBE@IPT) in UMP.

The visit session was led by the Chairman of SME Corp. Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Syed Hussein Al Habshee.
