MTUN seals MoU with JPPKK empowers national TVET

BANGI, 2 June 2022 - In an effort to promote the country’s technical education, a strategic relationship and collaboration was sealed between the Department of Polytechnic Education and Community Colleges (JPPKK) and the Malaysian Technical University Network (MTUN) involving four universities, namely Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn (UTHM) and Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM).

UMP students excited to celebrate Eid

PAYA BESAR, 23 May 2022 - After two years of not celebrating the festivities of Aidilfitri, the arrival of the month of Syawal this time was awaited with excitement among students.

Since early morning Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) students have started coming so as not to miss the opportunity to celebrate Eid and enjoy the feast Majlis Ukhuwah Aidilfitri and Jasamu Dikenang organised by the Student Affairs and Alumni Department (SAffAD) which took place at the Astaka Hall, UMP Gambang Campus.

UMP appreciates services of frontliners as Aidilfitri approaches

PEKAN, 23 April 2022 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) appreciates the services and contributions of university frontliners who will continue to serve when most other staff will be on leave for the Eid celebration soon.

The Salam Kasih Lebaran Programme organised by the Registry Department was held recently to distribute the Eid contribution to 50 UMP staff members who will be on duty during Eid.

Ketuk-ketuk Sahur UMP volunteers assist the local community

KUANTAN, 25 April 2022 – Concern towards frontliners on night shift duty and the homeless has prompted 20 student volunteers from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) to conduct the Ketuk-ketuk Sahur@Kuantan, Pahang programme.

According to the Principal of Student Residence 4, Nasrul Salim Pakheri, after almost two years the country was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, this year they were able to assist the group of night workers and the homeless.

KILAU UMP volunteers donate sahur meals to city residents

KUALA LUMPUR, 28 April 2022 - A total of 40 student and staff volunteers from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) distributed 350 packs of sahur meals and food in the Singgah Sahur@Kuala Lumpur Programme today.

The programme began with the delivery of personal needs such as hygiene kits, towels and food at the Kuala Lumpur Homeless Transit Centre (PTGKL).

Present to receive the donation was PTGKL’s Operations Officer, Syed Anas Dato’ Syed Ali.
