11 years of struggling for degree, Juliza now a graduate

KUANTAN, 18 March 2022 - The 11-year struggle to obtain a degree is arduous and coping with various health problems is not a hindrance to success.

That is evidenced by the graduand of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Juliza Ameruddin, 36 who attended the 15th UMP Convocation Ceremony relying on a gas tank for breathing.

According to Juliza, her asthma has become more chronic, causing her to rely on an oxygen gas tank for breathing.

UMP, MNR and UMW collaboration in food grade grease oil research

KUALA LUMPUR, 22 March 2022 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) will partner with Multitech Sdn. Bhd. (MNR) and UMW Innovation and R&D Centre Sdn. Bhd. in carrying out food grade grease oil research project.

The research is led by the Director of MNR, Ts. Mohd Najib Razali, who is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology (FTKKP), UMP.

According to Ts. Mohd Najib, this product is a formulation of food grade grease oil using halal ingredients.

High-competence graduates have advantages in marketability

KUANTAN, 17 March 2022 - Graduates with high competence by mastering various languages, self-confidence, can communicate well and can operate high-tech equipment have the advantage of gaining a place in the job market.

According to the UMP Pro-Chancellor, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Abi Musa Asaari Mohamed Nor, the Department of Statistics Malaysia recorded 190,436 employment opportunities in December 2021, 69% of which were based on TVET and 19% in the manufacturing sector.
