KUALA LUMPUR, 9 February 2022 - The strategic collaboration between Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and Mannheim University of Applied Sciences (HsMA) will expand international academic collaboration in leading German engineering education (Fachhochschule) in the country.

This collaboration will benefit from sharing expertise in education, research, staff and student exchanges, and industrial training.

PAYA BESAR, 28 January 2022 - The special registration plate number of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), UC, will be bid from 1 to 14 February.

The bidding process will be done online with a bid value starting at RM1,000 for four-digit numbers and RM200,000 for single-digit numbers.

Meanwhile, UMP students and staff have the opportunity to get a special price when it is offered to start on 25 February 2022.

KOTA KINABALU, 26 January 2022 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and UMP Advanced are expanding strategic cooperation with the Ministry of Community Development and People’s Wellbeing of Sabah (KPMKR) including other agencies and departments Sabah to assist the transformation of technology-based community, especially the B40 group, single mothers, asnaf (zakat beneficiaries) and natives of the state.

KUANTAN, 20 January 2022 – The strategic collaboration between Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and Yayasan Al-Sultan Abdullah (YASA) will benefit the areas of education, research and the community among students in Pahang.

YASA is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) in Pahang that will offer opportunities for students especially from the underprivileged community, indigenous people and mualaf (Muslim converts) in Pahang to join education and career development programmes.

PAYA BESAR, 24 February 2022 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) received a visit from the Director General of Higher Education, Professor Dato’ Dr. Husaini Omar and a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education at UMP Gambang Campus recently.

Also present in the delegation were the Director of the Private Standards Division of MoHE, Dr. Wan Baharudin Wan Mahmood, Director, Enforcement and Inspectorate Division, Mat Hassan Ibrahim and Director, Holistic Student Division, Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Suzeren Md Jamil.

AYER KEROH, 22 February 2022 – Two books jointly published between Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Press and Abad Sinergi Sdn. Bhd. has received two prestigious awards in the National Book Award Ceremony 2022 (ABN 2022) through the writings of Datuk Associate Professor Dr. Wan Ahmad Fauzi bin Hashim@Wan Husain from the Faculty of Industrial Management (FPI).

KUANTAN, 24 February 2022 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) recorded sales of the UC special registration number series reaching RM3 million since opening for bidding on 1 February 2022.

To date, almost 1,000 numbers have been bid and sold including numbers successfully tendered by staff, students, individuals and companies.
