UMP seals collaboration with IWK and VETSB

PAYA BESAR, 15 April 2022 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and Indah Water Konsortium Sdn. Bhd. (IWK) sealed a collaboration in the field of domestic and industrial wastewater treatment technology.

With this collaboration, UMP and IWK will share expertise to conduct research and development in the field of wastewater processing.

Meanwhile, the collaboration of UMP and Velcro Envirotech Sdn. Bhd. (VETSB) will empower TVET programmes and excellent research in the future.

6 UMP subjects listed in QSWUR by Subject 2022, world-recognised

PEKAN, 6 April 2022 - Six Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) subjects are ranked among the world’s best based on the recently announced QS World University Rankings (QSWUR) by Subject 2022 rating.

Chemical Engineering subject is in the world’s top 150-200 and among the top five in Malaysia.

UMP Press publishes 6 new books

PEKAN, 13 January 2022 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Press started the new year this time by organising a mini-launch of six of its latest published books at the 6th SUARA UMP Aspirations Ceremony, which was completed by the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology (FTKMA), Professor Dr. Mahadzir Ishak, at the Executive Lounge, UMP Pekan Library.

Embrace 4 cultures and student solidarity in new MPP leadership

PAYA BESAR, 11 January 2021 - The newly appointed Students’ Representative Council (MPP), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) for the 2021/2022 session is recommended to pay serious attention to the fostering of a culture of wisdom, prosperity, respect, and love.

These can be implemented through various programmes and activities so that UMP continues to be harmonious with a conducive campus atmosphere for learning and unity.

 ‘Our Kitchen Project’ helps UMP students

PEKAN, 7 January 2022 - A total of 600 roti canai were successfully distributed for free to Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) students in the UMP Our Kitchen Project - Students Help Students around the Durham Student Residence, Pekan and the UMP Gambang Mosque.

More interestingly, it was made by UMP volunteers from the Yayasan UMP Squad who also helped raise funds, prepare the dough, make the roti canai, and distribute them to UMP students.
