PEKAN, 17 February 2022 - His Majesty the Regent of Pahang Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hasanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah was appointed as the Royal Patron for the Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Volunteers.

This appointment is in line with the university’s aspiration to strengthen the volunteering agenda at the university.

KUANTAN, 16 May 2022 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) student from the Faculty of Industrial Management (FPI), Nurul Ashikin Hussin, a 20 km walk athletics athlete, intends to bag a medal in the Vietnam Hanoi SEA Games which takes place from 12 to 23 May 2022.

She asked for prayers from all UMP associates and Malaysians to bring success and fly the Jalur Gemilang in Hanoi.

PEKAN, 9 May 2022 – The tradition of putting up lights or lamps when Ramadan begins to approach its final days has become a tradition of the Malay community in Malaysia.

Usually, oil lamps or panjut are put up around the house to enliven the house and its surrounding, especially during 27 Ramadan.

They used to put up kerosene lamps, and now some use electric or solar lamps.

PEKAN, 28 April 2022 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) is ranked 301st-400th and 8th in Malaysia in the global impact rating Time Higher Education (THE Global Impact Ranking) announced on 27 April 2022.

In contrast to other world ratings, THE Impact Rankings focuses on 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to inculcate harmony and prosperity in nature as well as global society.

According to the UMP Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, it was UMP’s first participation.
