KUANTAN, 14 June 2022 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) received the 2021 Most Active Organiser award in conjunction with the recent Pahang statewide World Blood Donor Day Celebration.

The programme organised by the Pahang State Department of Health was held at Kuantan City Council Hall.

PEKAN, 9 June 2022 - Two innovation projects produced by a group of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) staff, namely Buku Si Comel or Buku Imunisasi Baby Digital (Buku Pink) and the AgroTrack Project took first place and won a gold medal in the International Innovation Competition (IIC) 2022 took place at Temerloh Community College recently.

PEKAN, 15 June 2022 - There are many waterproof spray products for fabrics, but most of the raw material solvents used are toxic, harming human health and the environment.

Starting from that problem, ChM. Dr. Wan Norfazilah Wan Ismail, 34 has produced GetDry! which uses water as a raw material solvent by using a production method called the sol-gel method, a simple, fast and cost-effective method.

According to her, water use can also reduce production costs.

PEKAN, 8 June 2022 – The COVID-19 pandemic recorded a sharp increase in the use of intensive care unit (ICU) beds and equipment in hospitals around the world and particulalry in the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH).

GERMANY, 31 May 2022 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) signed a partnership with Hochshcule Karlsruhe (HKA) Germany to carry out the UMP-HKA Dual Degree in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) programme.

The Dual Degree in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) programme is the third dual degree programme with HKA after a successful 12 years of collaboration in mechatronics and automotive engineering programmes.

GERMANY, 3 June 2022 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hochschule Mannheim (HsMA) Germany to implement academic and student staff exchange programmes for both universities.

Also held at this meeting was a face-to-face document exchange of cooperation agreement.
