Kuala Lumpur, January 20 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) has ratified strategic cooperative ties with Agrico for Agricultural Development, Qatar (Agrico) which is a supplier for agricultural systems and greenhouse-grown produce in Doha, Qatar. UMP will work together with Agrico in research, product development, commercialisation, and expertise exchange for use in agriculture which will be utilised in Agrico’s greenhouses in Doha, Qatar.
The sympathy towards children who face difficulties in controlling their bodies’ position and activation due to damage to their developing brain, or better known as cerebral palsy, inspired a group of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) researchers to develop the Smart Physio-Treadmill (PhyMill) to aid patients in training their walking movements.

Concern with problems often faced by farmers or breeders in monitoring and regulating their crops or livestock has motivated a Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) researcher to come up with a system called IoT-Enabled Farmer Digital Expert System @ AGRISOFT.
The system is developed to help overcome losses due to damages in crops or livestock caused by ecological changes which have not been observed earlier.
Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) received RM157,800 from UMW Toyota Motor through UMP Foundation for the Ninja Project@UMP STEM Lab that will commence this April, involving more than 1,000 school students nationwide.
