GUA MUSANG, 17 March 2024 - The scorching hot weather and fasting in Ramadan did not discourage 31 Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) InSmartive Club student volunteers to carry out Semaian Kasih project with Temiar Orang Asli tribe in the Pos Brooke settlement, Lojing.

The three-day programme was sponsored by Kariah Masjid Saidina Umar Al-Khattab (MSUA), Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.

UMPSA and Libya strengthen collaborative bonds for academic and research advancements

KUALA LUMPUR, 23 April 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) continues to foster stronger ties with Libyan academic and research institutions through a significant meeting held in Kuala Lumpur recently. 

The meeting was attended by Dr. Saleh Khalifa Algoul, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research from Libya, alongside representatives from the Embassy and UMPSA. Dr. Algoul was warmly welcomed by Vice-Chancellor of UMPSA, Professor Dato' Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, and other university representatives.

Countdown to the 4th International Conference on Language Learning and Teaching 2024 (ICOLLT)

PEKAN, 23 April 2024 - More than 200 participants will be expected to join the 4th International Conference on Language Learning and Teaching 2024 (ICOLLT) that will be held on 20th and 21st May 2024 at Perdana Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. 

The ICOLLT 4.0 will be hosted by the Centre for Modern Languages, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) with co-organisers from Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and HCMC University of Technology and Education, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 

100 children of UMPSA staff receive school uniform donations

GAMBANG, 28 February 2024 - A total of 100 children of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) staff received donations of school necessities from the UMPSA Foundation, reflecting the university's concern in alleviating the schooling expenses of staff members in need.

The school essentials include school uniforms, socks, shoes, school bags, and stationery for children who will step into the school world for the 2024/2025 session soon.

Embracing the 10 mins ‘Jom baca bersama’ annual event

PEKAN, 24 April 2024 - ‘Jom Baca Bersama’ is a 10-minute initiative in Malaysia celebrated yearly on 23rdApril in conjunction with World Book & Copyright Day. 

This event is celebrated all over the world. The objective of World Book & Copyright Day is to promote the enjoyment of books and reading. 

This year, the theme for this annual event is ‘Read your way’, signifying the importance of choice and enjoyment in fostering a passion for reading.

Although Call for Papers are now closed for ICoLLT 4.0, Call for Participation is still open!
