Majlis Dekan-dekan Bahasa Universiti Awam (MaLDeC) and OMNiA Academy explore potential collaboration for educational advancement

PUTRAJAYA, 22 April 2024 - Key stakeholders from Majlis Dekan-dekan Bahasa Universiti Awam (MaLDeC) and OMNiA Academy Media Prima Sdn. Bhd. convened at the Ministry of Higher Education in Putrajaya. 

Chaired by the Dean of the Centre of Modern Languages, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Associate Profesor Dr. Nik Aloesnita Nik Mohd Alwi, the meeting aimed to explore potential collaborations to enhance educational opportunities and foster academic excellence.

The UMPSA Kembaran Prihatin Programme reaches out to the wider higher education community

TUARAN, 3 March 2024 - The Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Kembara Prihatin Programme, involving 55 student volunteers and 15 staff, with almost 30 activities carried out since 27 February, succeeded in bringing the community closer to the university and benefiting the community in Sabah.

The Kembara Prihatin programme was held in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations (UN) in various aspects of human life and the environment by 2030.

UMPSA prepares 17 buses for the benefit of 600 students heading home to celebrate Aidilfitri

PEKAN, 5 April 2024 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) is providing a total of 17 buses for approximately 600 students, thanks to the collaboration of the Department of Student and Alumni Affairs (JHEPA), the Department of Property Development and Management (JPPH), and the Student Representative Council (MPP). 

This initiative is sponsored by local organizations to enable students to return to their respective hometowns on April 5 and 6 to celebrate Aidilfitri, which is fast approaching.

International students created new memories celebrating Ramadan at UMPSA

GAMBANG, 30 March 2024 - Ramadan celebration among international students at UMPSA this year, has created new memories and experiences for them. 

The celebration of Ramadhan, like any other year, spent with their beloved family, has changed as this time, they were on campus to begin the new semester. 

Nevertheless, the Ramadan celebration among international students was still meaningful and filled with new memories and experiences. 

Professors’ Public Lecture share expertise in the Innovation of Specialty Chemicals and Graphene

GAMBANG, 4 April 2024 - The Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Professors' Public Lecture provided an opportunity for academics to share their expertise and enrich knowledge with intellectual thinking related to contemporary issues and societal culture in this country.

The programme was organized by the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology (FTKKP), coordinated by the Department of Academic and International Affairs (JHEAA).

UMPSA strengthens its relationship with the community through the Belaian Kasih Ramadan 3.0 Programme

GAMBANG, 1 April 2024 - The Belaian Kasih Ramadan 3.0 Programme, organized by the Resident Student Representative 2 (PEKA2) of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), was successfully held at Dewan Astaka, UMPSA, Gambang Campus recently.

The programme is a continuation of the previous successes of Belaian Kasih Ramadan, which includes three series: Belaian Kasih Ramadan 1.0, 2.0, and the latest, 3.0.

UMPSA Foundation, PUNB, and Maxis Berhad extend help with cooking essentials for off-campus students

PEKAN, 22 March 2024 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Foundation, Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad (PUNB), and Maxis Berhad have stepped forward to assist UMPSA students living off-campus with cooking essentials through the Salam Cinta Ramadan Programme.

The donation was presented by UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, who is also the Deputy Chairman of the UMPSA Foundation, Professor Dato' Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, in a warm and friendly manner with UMPSA students.

UMPSA's Pilgrimage Programme honours excellent B40 students

KUANTAN, 10 February 2024 - Lieutenant Colonel Professor Ir. Ts. Dr. Ahmad Ziad Sulaiman, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Academic and International Affairs at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), welcomed outstanding B40 students through the recent UMPSA Love Pilgrimage Programme.

He also presented admission offer letters for the Bachelor's Degree Programme for the Second Intake of the 2023/2024 Academic Session to two prospective UMPSA students, namely Nur Adlina Moharizani and Syazwan Syafiq Ibrahim.
