UMPSA welcomes 2,313 new students, enlivening 2025/2026 Academic Session

PEKAN, 27 September 2025 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) received a total of 2,313 new students who began registering today for Semester I of the 2025/2026 Academic Session at both campuses in Pekan and Gambang.

The registration process, which began this morning, proceeded smoothly through a drive-through method with the attendance of students accompanied by their respective families from all over the country.

KUALA LUMPUR, 18 September 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) reached out to new students in need as an initiative and to facilitate their registration process on 27 September.

The visit by UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias, who reached out to the family of Mohamad Afiq Mohd Azmi, inspired him to register at UMPSA next week.

UMPSA continues to excel in MS ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Surveillance Audit by SIRIM QAS International

PEKAN, 26 September 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has completed the MS ISO 9001:2015 Surveillance Audit conducted by SIRIM QAS International recently.

The audit session took place smoothly over three days, starting on 24 September, with the opening meeting chaired by UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias.

The meeting was also attended by UMPSA’s top management, deans, and heads of responsibility centres.

PEKAN, 30 September 2025 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) received a courtesy visit from the Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia, His Excellency Shikata Noriyuki, accompanied by Ms. Masubuchi Kana, Second Secretary, at its Pekan campus this week.

The delegation was welcomed by UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias, alongside members of the university’s senior management team and a group of UMPSA alumni who pursued their studies in Japan.
