PEKAN, 26 November 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) continues to strengthen its commitment to upholding integrity through the organisation of the Corruption-Free Pledge Ceremony with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Pahang State, in conjunction with the UMPSA Integrity Day Celebration 2025 held at the Banquet Hall, Chancellery Tun Abdul Razak.

UMPSA researchers produce Malaysia’s first Paperbot through air humidity to power future robots

PEKAN, 25 November 2025 – Researchers of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) succeeded in producing Malaysia’s first ‘Paperbot’ through air humidity, which now has the potential to become a new energy source for powering future robots.

Through the strategic combination of graphite mapping techniques and origami folding on the device body, the UMPSA research team successfully developed a paper-based smart actuator film called ‘Paperbot’ that is capable of rolling on its own when exposed to continuous humidity.

UMPSA explores strategic collaboration with LatConnect 60 and ReOrbitBTS in satellite and aerospace technology research

DUBAI, 20 November 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) strengthens its position as a leading national institution in space technology through two strategic research collaborations with LatConnect 60 Sdn. Bhd (LatConnect 60) and ReOrbit BTS Sdn. Bhd. (ReOrbitBTS).

The collaboration with LatConnect 60 involves a research project titled ‘Hyperspectral Earth Observation Satellite for Pahang Aerospace City’, focusing on the development of satellite technology based on hyperspectral remote sensing.

120 UMPSA, TMB, SWCorp and Alam Flora volunteers collect 190.2 kg waste along less than 500 m at Pantai Tanjung Gosong

PEKAN, 14 November 2025 – A total of 120 volunteers from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), in collaboration with Tanah Makmur Berhad, SWCorp, and Alam Flora, successfully carried out the Plogging@Pantai Tanjung Gosong programme.

According to the Director of the UMPSA Sustainability Development Centre (SDC), Dr Suhaidah Hussain, this programme is the third in the series held in conjunction with Antarctica Day 2025.

4,259 UMPSA graduands set to graduate starting tomorrow

GAMBANG, 8 November 2025 – Perseverance and deep interest in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) made Khairul Imran Khalip, a Bachelor of Applied Data Analytics with Honours graduate of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), one of the university’s brightest stars when he was named recipient of the Royal Education Award (Pingat Jaya Cemerlang) 2025.
