The Importance of MILD Combustion, Biogas and The Impact on The Global Warming

The energy demand is dramatically increasing due to the growth of the world's population and substantial economic development in Brazil, Russia, China, and India. The combustion of fossil fuel is projected to fulfil about 75% of this energy needs. Some of the significant challenges are to provide efficient energy and limit greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Combustion pollution will increase the earth's temperature, create unstable weather, increase ocean levels, and ice melting in the North and South Poles. 

UMP–MARA collaboration pioneers Halal Gelatin Project

Kuala Lumpur, 30 September 2020 - The country’s first halal gelatin project will begin in Pahang soon when Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) received the remaining RM5 million via the collaboration project with the Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) involving a total allocation of RM20 million which is disbursed in stages in the form of grants.

UMP students continue their studies online, postpone entering campus

Pekan, 5 October 2020 - Concerned about the current situation with the increase in positive COVID-19 cases in the country, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) has announced the postponement of all new and senior students who are scheduled to register at both UMP Pekan and Gambang campuses starting this October.

PIMPIN to cultivate prolific writers

Kuantan, 28 September 2020 - To improve skills in the field of writing and publishing, and to produce more writers, for the first time the Islamic and Human Development Centre (PIMPIN), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) organized a Book Writing and Publication Workshop.

The two-day program was held at the Grand Darul Makmur Hotel, Kuantan involving 11 UMP staff serving at PIMPIN.
