UMPSA celebrates outstanding athletes in the 2024 Athlete Appreciation Ceremony

PEKAN, 13 May 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) organised the 2024 UMPSA Athlete Appreciation Ceremony to celebrate the achievements and dedication of athletes who brought glory to the university throughout the past year.

The ceremony, held at the Banquet Hall, Tun Abdul Razak Chancellery, was officiated by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias.

UMPSA and TSTU enter first bilateral agreement to foster global academic cooperation

TASHKENT, 21 April 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has officially established its first international partnership with a public university in Uzbekistan, Tashkent State Technical University (TSTU). 

Held in the capital city of Tashkent, the signing ceremony marks a major step forward in advancing cooperation between Malaysia and Uzbekistan, particularly in the fields of technical education, joint research, scholarly publications, and student mobility.

KUALA LUMPUR, 3 May 2025 – Combining multiple agendas into one meeting may sound ambitious, but the Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), successfully brought together its Industrial Advisory Panel (IAP) and Study Committee (SC) meetings which aim for achieving education standard for every study course and programme in CML parallel with industrial needs in one productive session at Seri Pacific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

UMPSA launches Recruitment Drive with Successful Walk-In Interview Session

KUALA LUMPUR, 3 May 2025 – In a proactive move to strengthen its academic team, Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), held its first-ever walk-in interview session for English language lecturer positions. 

The two-day event, held in conjunction with the IAP and Study Committee meetings at Seri Pacific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, received a positive response and encouraging turnout.

A total of 14 applications were received for the walk-in session. 

UMPSA Advances Global Education Goals at EURIE 2025

ISTANBUL, 7 April 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) strengthened its commitment to inclusive global education through its participation at the 10th Eurasia Higher Education Summit (EURIE 2025), held at the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Centre. 

UMPSA VC Inspires Students to Enter University through Study@UMPSA

TAUN GUSI, KOTA BELUD, 2 May 2025 – A total of 130 Form 4, 5, and 6 students took part in the Titipan Hasrat programme with the Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias. 

The event was held at the hall of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Taun Gusi, Sabah, in conjunction with the Kembara Lestari@Negeri di Bawah Bayu 3.0 programme.
