PUTRAJAYA, 2 August 2024 – UMPSA's Cyber X team made Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) proud by winning the Astro-NACSA Coding Challenge 2024 (ANCC2024).
Their success was celebrated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who presented awards and prizes sponsored by international technology companies Blackberry-CompTIA, Cisco, and Huawei at the 2024 Cyber Security Summit, held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre on July 30.

KUANTAN, 31 August 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) sent two contingents to participate in the parade for the 67th National Day Celebration at the Pahang State Level in Kuantan and Pekan.
The contingent was composed of 60 staff members, led by Hairulazam Haron in Kuantan and Ts. Haji Azahar Mohd Yasin in Pekan.

PEKAN, 21 August 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) continues to strengthen its international network by establishing strategic collaborations with several leading higher education institutions (HEIs) in Heilongjiang Province, China.
This initiative is part of UMPSA's efforts to expand its academic network and enhance collaboration in research and technology development.

PUTRAJAYA, 28 August 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) organized the 7th International Conference on Chemical Engineering & Industrial Biotechnology (ICCEIB) 2024, held from 27 to 29 August 2024, in Putrajaya.
ICCEIB 2024, with the theme 'Collaborative Approach to SDG: Catalyzing Sustainability in Food, Energy, and Water Security,' was conducted for the first time in a hybrid format, broadening the scope of participation and involvement from delegates worldwide.

PEKAN, 23 August 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) continues to strengthen its cooperation with industry partners through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between UMPSA and Alps Electric (M) Sdn. Bhd.
The ceremony was witnessed by UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato' Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, and Managing Director of Alps Electric (M) Sdn. Bhd., Wataru Tezuka, who signed the MoU at a ceremony held at the Banquet Hall, Tun Abdul Razak Chancellery, UMPSA Pekan, recently.

PEKAN, 27 August 2024 – For the first time, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) and Futurise have launched the Eastern Zone Dronecubator, an event held today at Block 1 Field, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology (FTKEE), UMPSA.
The Dronecubator is a drone sports incubator programme designed to develop new talent among the youth in Malaysia.

PEKAN, 27 August 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has further strengthened its collaboration with the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) today.
The ceremony, held at the Banquet Hall, Tun Abdul Razak's Chancellery, UMPSA Pekan, was witnessed by UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato' Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, and PTPTN Chief Executive, Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid.

GAMBANG, 30 August 2024 – The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Ts. Dato' Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, recently handed over the UMPSA flag to the contingent representative, Ahmad Azad Rifqi Redzuan, who will represent the university at the 2024 Higher Education Institution Games (SUKIPT) in Sintok, Kedah.
The UMPSA contingent will be led by Head of Contingent, Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Rusllim Mohamed, and Deputy Head of Contingent, Mohd Aznorizam Haji Ismail.

PUTRAJAYA, 25 August 2024 – Graduates from the Bachelor of Industrial Electronics Automation Technology (BVI) and Bachelor of Electrical System Maintenance Technology (BVE) programmes, offered by the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology (FTKEE) at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), have become highly sought after by the automotive and electronics industries.
These graduates have successfully secured employment shortly after completing their studies at UMPSA.

GAMBANG, 30 August 2024 – A total of 100 volunteers from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), along with staff from the Pahang State Forestry Department and UMPSA Holdings Sdn. Bhd., continued the mission of planting 67 trees in conjunction with RTM's Malaysian Aspirations Tour Programme and UMPSA's 2024 Independence Threshold Celebration at UMPSA Gambang Campus recently.

PEKAN, 30 August 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has produced a short drama titled 'Motor Merdeka Atuk' in conjunction with the 67th Independence Day, which will be celebrated on 31 August.
This short drama aims to inspire the spirit of patriotism among UMPSA members and Malaysians. 'Motor Merdeka Atuk' is the creation of Muhammad Aiman Nasriq Mohd Roslan, a student at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology (FTKEE).

Service learning is a well-known integrated approach to modern teaching and learning strategies. The history of service learning began with scholars like Ernest Boyer, who challenged American colleges to shift their focus beyond just preparing students for careers. In his view, education reform should be oriented towards producing citizens with a civic minded mentality who are capable of listening, caring, and contributing to the betterment of society.
