MOHE, UMPSA strengthen strategic leadership through reform mindset

JERANTUT, 12 April 2026 – The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), in strategic collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), successfully organised the 2026 MOHE Top Management Revitalisation Programme, themed ‘Mind Revitalisation, Action Reform’, recently.

The three-day programme, which took place from 10 to 12 April, involved a total of 77 participants comprising MOHE’s top management.

KUALA TAHAN, 12 April 2026 – The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), in strategic collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), successfully organised the 2026 MOHE Top Management Revitalisation Programme, themed ‘Mind Revitalisation, Action Reform’.

The three-day programme, which took place from 10 to 12 April 2026, aimed to strengthen strategic leadership among the ministry’s top management team.

KUALA LUMPUR, 11 April 2026 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) received a six-star recognition in the Talentbank Employer’s Choice Universities 2026 list by the Talentbank Graduate Employability (GE) Index, which was held recently.

UMPSA’s automotive and mechatronic engineering field was recognised with a 6-star employer’s top choice award, reflecting the industry’s level of confidence in the quality of UMPSA graduates.

PEKAN, 7 April 2026 – A total of five academic staff members of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) received promotions in a presentation session held today.

The Vice-Chancellor of UMPSA, Professor Ts. Dr. Yatimah Alias presented the promotion letter to the lecturer from the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology (FTKMA), Professor Dr. Rizalman Mamat, who was promoted to the position of Professor, Special Grade B (VK6).

PEKAN, 1 April 2026 — A faculty delegation team led by Dean of the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Profesor Ir. Ahmad Razlan Yusoff, paid an official visit to Volkswagen Pekan as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen industry-academia collaboration between the two institutions.

The visit, which took place from approximately 2:00 to 3:00 pm, was warmly received by Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Malaysia, Dr. Susanne Lehmann and Director of Volkswagen Pekan, Norhayati Othman.

KANAGAWA, JAPAN, 13 April 2026 – A significant milestone is unfolding for Malaysia’s technology ecosystem as Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Move Robotic Sdn. Bhd., and PIX Moving Inc., through its subsidiary Pix Intelligence Inc., officially formalised a strategic collaboration to advance autonomous mobility.

The collaboration marks more than a routine partnership, representing a progressive evolution in the development of autonomous vehicle (AV) technologies.

PEKAN, 7 April 2026 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) continues to strengthen its role as a technology- and community-based university through the development of the Diffused Aeration System for Aquaculture, an internet of things (IoT)-based innovation capable of transforming the aquaculture sector, particularly shrimp farming in rural areas.

PEKAN, 4 April 2026 – A total of 50 participants took part in the Plogging Programme at Pantai Lagenda, Pekan, which was held in a spirit of volunteerism and awareness of the importance of environmental preservation.

This programme was jointly organised by the IEM Club, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), the UMPSA Eco Nexus Club, and the UMPSA Sustainability Development Centre, in collaboration with the IEM Young Engineers Section (IEM YES) and Nextgreen Sdn. Bhd.

PEKAN, 9 April 2026 – The Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Library has introduced a new concept of library services that is more open and flexible, transforming the user experience towards a smoother and more technology-friendly learning environment.
  
This concept has been implemented in line with the use of new ultra high frequency (UHF)-based technology, which is capable of detecting library materials more widely and efficiently without the need for a physical gate structure.
